Welcome to brand new segment of my site, known as CotW or Cards of the Week … If your not familiar with the trend, it is where much like a Blog Hop I write up a post here on the site for the week ahead, using a combination of Tarot & Oracle Cards. This week, we’re look at 11th of November through to the 17th of November. Like the Master List that you find in a Blog Hop, there is a Master List for the posts featured in a Month.
It is my intention at least to begin with to start the cards from Monday through to Sunday, so that each update begins on the Monday for the following week, so next week begins on the 18th of November. The cards featured in this weeks reading are: The Enchanted Map by Colette Baron-Reid, Pagan Tarot by Robin Payne & Rosemarie Lewsey and Mystical Shaman Oracle by Alberto Villoldo, Colette Baron-Reid and Marcela Lobos.
The Enchanted Map, 8 – Come Together: This speaks volumes for Monday in particular as it is Remembrance Day; a date really that is etched into the collective for pretty much time immemorial, which is a place or point in the past, that for many would be long ago to the limits of knowledge or memory. This can be a grey area as the generations that came before me still recall the events, but many of them are passing across the veil, and soon there may not be many left to remember the follies of those in charge. By Tuesday it becomes a a reminder, that is saying Come Together is also a collective message, it is time to forget the divide and confuse programming. In place of it come together and actually communicate.
The Pagan Tarot, Ace of Swords – Victory: Mid-Week the sombre reminders of how powerful the collective can be, give way and we enter the period of accomplishment and overcoming challenges. This sense of Victory can be small triumphs, but it can also be major ones as well. It is a card of potency and also a card of really going for it. It is also one that states if you have a point to make, then make it; stand your ground and prove yourself to yourself.
The Mystical Shaman, 61 – Water: The end of the week is a strong one for cleansing and releasing. Any cords cut mid-week need to be cauterised and healed, so do take the time to do it. Self Healing is hugely important here, as is looking into the psyche and understanding the lessons learnt and to come. Water is a potency card, nourishing, refreshing, reflective and cathartic because water also combines as it does alter states, but it always returns to being water. Remember no matter what you have to go through, no matter what you have gone through, you will return to your natural state; however, you may also come back with new beneficial properties also.
Well, you are free to make of this what you will. Whether it reads as true or false, you are free to let me know or not. Either way, enjoy your week.
